For 2011 the Infiniti M receives an upgrade in name and mechanicals. From an external perspective the M will receive a slight facelift and will receive a more aggressive rear light treatment. The main upgrades that M35 enthusiasts have been waiting for is a mechanical upgrade and Infiniti does not fail these requests. For 2011 the 3.5L VQ35DE powerplant will be upgraded to the VQ37VHR as found in the current G37 and Nissan 370z lineups. Power will be at least 328hp but has been rumored to have 350hp, similar to the Nissan 370z NISMO edition. The transmission will be upgraded from the current 5AT to the 7AT being used in the current G-series model lineup. Time will tell and M37Forum.com will be here to report on upcoming design changes.
